Integrating automation systems and software can help woodworking businesses tackle the labor shortage, increase throughput, and reduce costs per part, according to organizers of the Keep America Machining event.
The event, scheduled for October 26-27 at the IMA Schelling showroom in Morrisville, North Carolina, will showcase automated panel processing machinery and software. Equipment and processes on display include automated material selection and loading, CNC machining, automated offloading, automated sorting and stacking of nested parts, automated material handling, vision-based part stacking and palletizing system.
The free event includes products from Microvellum, a CAD/CAM provider; C.R. Onsrud, manufacturers of CNC machining equipment; and Barbaric, a developer of material-handling solutions.
While this is primarily an in-person event, live streamed demonstrations will be available each day of the event.
