Video: CNC Factory's small footprint, big output CNC router

MANHEIM, Pa. – CNC Factory says its Viper XP CNC machining center packs “mammoth capabilities” into a “tiny footprint.”

The 5th generation Viper XP has a footprint of 10 feet and can be loaded on all four sides. The space-saving machine comes with a mobile compact controller.

CNC Factory says anyone can be trained to use the Viper in one day due to its intuitive interface and streamlined controls. The company adds that no prior knowledge of G-code is needed to perform the following:

  • Homing -- no homing or daily calibration is needed
  • Automatic tool measuring;
  • Rapid tool changing;
  • Automatic vacuum controls; there’s no need to manually crank of vacuum valves; and
  • Oil lubrication is done automatically

Other features of the Viper XP include material hold down with a high-flow phenolic vacuum table that works with one or two vacuum pumps and onboard air conditioning and cooling to preserve critical electronic parts.

CNC offers various upgrade capabilities can be added before or after purchase, including::

  • Nine-position drill block;
  • Four-post marking block;
  • A second vacuum pump; and 
  • Mister kit;
  • Vision marking tools; and
  • Laser engraving module.

The Viper XP not only has a small footprint, it can also be loaded from all four sides allowing maximum usage of space.

CNC Factory says WPE Lancaster attendees can expect a “massive discount” subtracted from its direct-factory pricing of $37,900. In-house and third-party financing is available. CNC Factory says it backs its 5G CNC routers with lifetime technical support and an 18-month warranty.
