Dust Technology to highlight Hush high-flow collector range at WPE CA

Hush dust collectors are available in various horsepower ranges and comply with NFPA 664 combustible dust prevention standards for indoor areas.

SAN DIEGO – Dust Technology, a division of Dust Pipe, will showcase its Hush High Flow dust collectors at Wood Pro Expo California, co-located with the Closets Conference & Expo, April 28-29. Hush dust collectors series will also be featured in the Running Machine Program, a series of free on-the-show-floor demonstrations of woodworking technology.

Hush dust collectors are available in various horsepower ranges and comply with NFPA 664 combustible dust prevention standards for indoor areas. Model #1000 has three filter sections and Model #1500 has four filter sections. Both units are fully expandable If needed.

Dust Technology claims the Hush units have the lowest dB sound meter ratings in the dust collection industry, hence the slogan, "So quiet you can hear yourself think."

According to Dust Technologies, features of the Hush line include:

  • Clean filtered air internal return that reduces heat loss to zero;
  • Hand-activated manual filter shaker for easier filter cleaning;
  • Proprietary baffling systems that assist even bag filling;
  • Three-position height, “Strong Leg with 2-Bolt” system with 6-in. or 12-in. adjustments;
  • VFD motor drive control for energy conservation resulting in lower electric bills;

About the 2022 Closets Conference & Expo and Wood Pro Expo California
The Closets Conference & Expo is the annual national event for closet and home storage professionals. It is co-located with Wood Pro Expo California (WPE), a regional marketplace for woodworking professionals. The events are organized by Closets & Organized Storage and FDMC magazines respectively, each part of Woodworking Network. The twin-bill event is scheduled for April 27-29, 2022, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.
