HAWAII - Designed with engineering giant Aecom, WallGoldfinger built a 43-foot curved table for one of its clients in Hawaii. And it's truly a work of art.

 

In between sections of finished quartered sustainable sapele veneer, the table features brushed stainless steel accents and supports. At the same time, brushed stainless steel runs horizontally along the curved kick and wide inlay band near the tabletop. The curved tabletop is made of engineered quartz and features a bullnose edge. More sapele veneer angles out from the base and down from the top of a riser, which features metal name plates, again curved and slanted.

 

The table is equipped with fixture boxes, speakers with controls and plug-ins, and 12-inch gooseneck microphones with LED lights.

 

Also included in the project were two height-adjustable, oversized lecterns and display cases.

 

Also slanted, the lecterns, once again made from sustainably harvested sapele veneer, feature an automated lift for standing and sitting heights, and a custom logo on the front.

 

The display cases are standouts for their UV bonded, clear, low iron, tempered glass display cases (not shown) with lighting, granite kick plates and more sapele veneer.

 

WallGoldfinger says it had to carefully pack the furniture via crates for air travel.
