Bellmont Cabinet Co. acquires Cabinets Northwest

SUMNER, Wash. — Bellmont Cabinet Company (BCC)has signed a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Cabinets Northwest Corporation (CNW), a prominent manufacturer of multifamily kitchen and bath cabinetry in the Northwest. 

This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone for both companies, the companies said. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, BCC will maintain operations of CNW at its Cle Elum, Washington, location, ensuring seamless continuity of service and operations for all stakeholders.

Established in 1995 by Clay Szeliga, the company said that CNW has emerged as a pioneer in delivering stylish frameless cabinets to the multifamily market. In 2023, CNW completed more than 3,000 units of multifamily projects, with projections to surpass that in 2024. 

Szeliga will continue to play a pivotal role within the former CNW structure, assuming the position of multifamily sales representative in the newly formed entity, which will operate under the Bellmont name.

Headquartered in Sumner, Washington, BCC operates a state-of-the-art 335,000-square-foot facility and employs 400 individuals. With an expansive product line comprising four distinct series ranging from stock to near-custom solutions, BCC is committed to delivering on-trend styles with high quality to its customers.

Bellmont Cabinet is an FDMC 300 company, ranking #103 with $96 million in sales, according to the latest report.
