LA CROSSE, WI - WalzCraft custom cabinetry components manufacturer opened a newly constructed training and education facility as it launched a cabinet refacing training program, the WalzCraft Cabinet Refacing Academy.
The dedicated 1,000 sq.ft. facility houses a classroom and hands-on training lab, specifically designed, built, and equipped to teach the craft of cabinet refacing at beginner and advanced levels.
“We believe the ‘WalzCraft Cabinet Refacing Academy’ is the first of its kind in North America,” says company president Dick Walz, who said it was built "in response to what we saw as a growing need in the residential remodeling market for a comprehensive and systematic approach to training technicians in the craft of fine cabinet refacing."
A 3½ day program conducted by WalzCraft's full-time, experienced cabinet refacing instructor includes an overview of the refacing market, introduction to types of refacing materials, four cabinetry refacing methods, and installation techniques and tools. www.refacingtraining.com
