HOLLYWOOD, FL — The Association for Retail Environments (A.R.E.) created a new website portal that features news, trends, commentary, member projects and products in one place. A.R.E.’s Retail Environments Insights Center (www.insights.retailenvironments.org) is an extension of A.R.E.’s magazine, Retail Environments.
“Our goal was to take all of the public content we produce at A.R.E. and put it in one location that is easy to access, navigate and digest,” said Todd Dittman, executive director of A.R.E. “The portal allows us to bring retailers, designers and suppliers under one tent to keep up with what’s happening in our industry.”
The Insights portal offers news stories about key players in the retail environment and commentary from leaders along with trends in design, shopping patterns, visual merchandising and store elements. The Products section displays A.R.E. members’ newest products, while the Inspirations section features “spy shots,” the association said. The Trends section offers trends within retail segments and consumer shopping behavior patterns along with other areas. The portal not only highlights the trends, but interprets them to show relevance. A.R.E. Retail Environments Insights Center also offers Supplier Connect Online, a comprehensive source to locate suppliers.
