VISTA, Calif. - Eco Building Products, Inc., (OTCBB: ECOB) announced today the Company's President is holding his first Town Hall type meeting Tuesday December 18 th hosted at Chris Michael's Steak House located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The meeting is focused on introducing Eco's Hurricane Breakaway Foundation Platform. Eco Building Products has accomplished a lot this past year with its various code acceptance on one of the Industry's few GREENGUARD Certified lumber protection products. ECOB's flagship product, Eco Red Shield TM, has raised the industry bar by providing unparalleled protection against the four major problems – termites, wood rot, mold and fire - plaguing homeowners and builders across the U.S.

The U.S. housing market is unnecessarily consuming millions of trees annually, produced from the Country's concerted and heavily governed reforestation efforts. Producing an unprotected lumber product creates an entirely new hazard, and increased susceptibility to sustained attacks by nature's enemies including termites, wood rot, fire, and super storms; like the one that just hit 8 states in the Northeast. Let's also not forget Hurricane Katrina, or all those homes vaporized by fire in Colorado, or the implications of severe weather experienced throughout Tornado alley. Looking back, it seems almost as if Eco Red Shield was created as a solution for building defensively against super storms.

Today in ECOB's business, we are shipping more whole-house framing packages into New Orleans with the "Make it Right Foundation," and we have a truck load of panels being delivered into Kansas for Midwest Drywall that will be utilized in the construction of several Military housing units. ECOB's ability to look out beyond the big lumber companies, assessing the pulse of the building market, and recognizing that one day people are finally going to realize that what is being used to build our homes with is simply not sustainable; this is the difference. Today's lumber is juvenile - weaker in comparison to old growth, making it more susceptible to attack, and the storms we're facing are more frequent and stronger than ever before. The Company's base network and operations are armed and ready to support any and all markets across the U.S., all of which are now being recognized by the decisions makers in the Lumber Industry, and even in the Government.

As we begin to experience the frustration of those homeowners affected by their losses, and with the footage beginning to surface showing contractors using raw, unprotected lumber, one must ask the question: Why are so many Americans using carefully allocated fundraising and Government money only to rebuild with the same unprotected lumber, and no new technology; it's as if everyone thinks there will not be another Sandy super storm for another hundred years. Quoted in Mayor Bloomberg's address on shaping New York's future after Hurricane Sandy, this was delivered on the morning of Dec. 6 at the New York Marriott Downtown: The eighth paragraph stated;

"Let me be clear: we are not going to abandon the waterfront. We are not going to leave the Rockaways or Coney Island or Staten Island's South Shore. But we cannot just rebuild what was there and hope for the best. We have to build smarter, stronger and more sustainable."

"I'm excited to hold our first educational presentation introducing ECOB's 'Hurricane Breakaway Foundation Platform.' This new platform represents the epitome of the newest in high wind load engineering, and we are determined to start spreading the news. New technologies like Eco Red Shield Lumber are now being used to rebuild homes on Long Island, and it's available to anyone currently in the rebuilding process," stated Steve Conboy, President/CEO of Eco Building Products, Inc.
