About the Event:
The three-day event takes place during the height of the holiday season and focuses on retail design and decor, featuring more than 35 showroom displays and three educational presentations.
New in 2014 is a free WindowsWear Fashion Window Walking Tour on Dec. 4 to the first 50 registrants as well as a collaborative installation at the Metropolitan Pavilion that will showcase products from participating showrooms. The Retail Design Collective coincides with the 18th Edition of the PAVE Gala, a popular fundraising and awards party on Dec. 3 that benefits students pursuing careers in the retail design and visual merchandising industries.
The show’s new headquarters at the Metropolitan Pavilion will feature a concentration of pop-up showrooms and sponsor areas and will house the daily presentations. Its location in the heart of Chelsea is within walking distance to several other participating permanent showrooms and popular New York City retail. The show is designed so attendees can enjoy the entire New York City holiday vibe in just three days away from the office while gathering inspiration to springboard into 2015.
Presentations at the 2014 Retail Design Collective take place each morning of the show with Wednesday and Thursday presentations including continental breakfast and Friday’s including a full, sit-down networking breakfast.
