Zongkers Custom Furniture used mahogany and walnut hardwood and walnut burl veneer to fabricate this two-sided buffet. Both of its sides are mirror images of each other.

An entry in the 2015 Custom Woodworking Design Portfolio Awards competition, this project features elliptical panel carvings, mortise and tenon joinery, dovetails and tongue-and-grooved door corners.

Zongkers, located in Omaha, NE, has been in business since 1989, creating handcrafted custom furniture and cabinetry.

Design Portfolio awards are given annually to honor custom woodworkers for outstanding craftsmanship.
