Project Description: This is a one-of-a-kind dressing room. Originally a three-car garage it is now a two-car garage with the third bay transformed into a beautiful dressing room. This 22’ x 11’ dressing room includes a pneumatic vacuum elevator (37 x 37 in diameter) that goes up to the master bedroom and after floating down to get dressed…she can start her day by exiting through a secret cabinet door that leads right to the garage. This pneumatic elevator works by the difference in air pressure above and beneath the vacuum elevator cab literally transports you by air. The 24"D maple wood cabinets are custom painted with a glaze finish on all cabinetry and panels. The glass front and raised paneled doors provides a nice balance.

LED lights are installed in all of the glass door cabinets. The two window seats with custom upholstery cushion provide additional drawer storage. There is also a beautiful vanity with a granite top and plenty of storage for every woman’s needs. The Swarovski knobs should brighten any woman’s day. This dressing room has so many details including a hidden biometric safe, motorized pull-down rods, 4 jewelry drawers and 3 drawers for other accessories (i.e. belts, scarves and small evening handbags), (2) hampers and so much storage for all seasons. There’s even a storage area for spirits if she wants to celebrate!

The ceiling was completed in a metallic plaster before the beautiful crystal chandeliers were installed. Finally, to enter from the garage there is a secret panel door that slides with pivot hinges and we installed a access key pad which works like a keyless locking system. This dressing has a very futuristic feel or maybe "James Bond."

List materials used in the project, including wood, veneer, laminate, hinges, decorative accessories, etc.: 1" maple wood custom painted with a glaze finish. Interior cabinets are custom painted as well. Motorized pull-down rods, all European soft close slides and hinges. All dovetailed drawer boxes. Swarovski knobs.

Describe any design challenges, i.e. obstructions, etc.: No design challenges.

Was the design created by hand or software program? If software program, which one did you use?: Design created by both Cabinet Vision and hand-drawn renderings.

Describe the installation process and any challenges.: The challenge was the curved mouldings.
