Xylexpo 2010 figures certified by ISF
Last July 20, the technical committee of Isf, the Italian institute for the certification of exhibition statistics, approved the release of the certification for Xylexpo 2010 in compliance with Iso 25639:2008.

Xylexpo – the biennial exhibition of woodworking technology held at FieraMilano-Rho from 4 to 8 May – has decided to have its figures certified. The certification refers not only to visitors, but also to other figures of the event: number of conferences and meetings, press attendance, exhibition surface, visitors' countries of origin.

“This is another step towards the level of clarity and transparency that exhibitions must guarantee – said Ambrogio Delachi, president of Acimall, the Confindustria member association that organizes the exhibition –. Today more than ever, we have to ensure our customers, both exhibitors and visitors, that they are attending an efficient and effective show, that they are investing on measurable events, that they can know all details about an exhibition.”

Isf was created in 2005 by initiative of Aefi (Associazione esposizioni e fiere italiane), Cfi (Comitato fiere industria), Cft/Assomostre (Associazione mostre specializzate) and Unioncamere (Unione italiana delle Camere di commercio), to meet the demand of reliability in the publication of the statistics of Italian and international exhibitions.

Xylexpo will be back from 8 to 12 May 2012 at FieraMilano-Rho.
