Wolf moves building products outlet to York, PA
YORK, PA-On Monday, September 27, 2010 WOLF announced it will establish a new distribution center in the New England market and move its Allentown operation to a larger facility in York, Pa. A new cross-dock and customer service center in the Lehigh Valley will serve existing customers in New Jersey and New York.

This comes on the heels of WOLF’s opening of a major distribution center in Lawrenceville, GA in 2009, and smaller facilities in High Point, North Carolina and Florence, South Carolina earlier this year.

The New England facility will be centrally located in the Massachusetts/Connecticut area, and will deliver both kitchen & bath and building products to a growing number of customers throughout the region. New product introductions in 2011 are expected to fuel significant sales increases, requiring closer proximity to keys markets.

WOLF’s building products distribution center will move from its current location in Allentown, Pennsylvania to WOLF’s existing reload center in York before the end of 2010. This will provide over twice the outdoor storage space, a rail siding and other logistical advantages.

WOLF will maintain a cross-dock facility at a site to be determined in the Lehigh Valley, which will also house the building products customer service team.

WOLF anticipates the addition of up to 20 new jobs as a result of the changes.
