The Value of Design
Wednesday, December 8
In a time where retail reinvention is crucial, stores and brands have to pull out all the stops to keep their retail environments fresh, present and relevant, and to promote value to the consumer. To communicate the value equation and connect with the core customer, effective store design and visual merchandising are needed, necessary and vital at all retail price points, in all retail categories and despite any retailer's budget. In this session, presented by DDI magazine, panelists will explore not only how budgets can impact creativity, construction and planning (aka bottom line value), but also the final effect new initiatives can have on both the customer and the ROI (aka emotional value).

Moderator: Jessie Bove, Managing Editor, DDI magazine

Panelists: Harry Cunningham, Vice President, Creative, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH and Brad Lenz, Vice President Shop-in-Shop and International Stores, Liz Claiborne Inc.
