Klaussner Home Furnishings announced today the retirement of Steve Brower, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Brower’s sales career began with the company in 1979 and he has been instrumental in the growth the company has experienced over the last 30 years. In 1981, Brower was named National Accounts Manager where he managed many of Klaussner’s major accounts. In 1996, Brower was promoted to Vice President of Sales and in 2005, he was named Senior Vice President of Sales where he managed the internal and external sales organization of the business. In 2008, Brower took on the extra responsibility of managing the marketing department of the company.

Over Brower’s 31 years of service to the company, it has seen substantial growth from a small family owned business to one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the country.

“Klaussner has been my home and my extended family for many long and prosperous years,” said Brower. “I have been blessed to be able to work with so many wonderful people both inside the company and outside with all of our tremendously loyal customers. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to see this company grow to where it is today.”

Brower is planning to spend his time with his wife Vickie, his children, Steven and DeAnna and grandson, Jay. Brower enjoys watching his grandson play baseball and in his free time will be crafting his golf game or relaxing on the beach.

“Steve has been a wonderful friend and very loyal and dedicated partner to this great company for many years,” said President and CEO, Bill Wittenberg. “His service to this company has been tremendous and I wish him nothing but the best in his retirement.”
