The Organising Committees for MADERALIA, chaired by Francisco Perelló, and FIMMA, which is being chaired for the first time this year by businessman Santiago Riera, have approved the new dates for the two exhibitions.

Thus, following the agreement between the two organising bodies, the 35th edition of FIMMA-MADERALIA is now set to take place at Feria Valencia from 25th to 28th October 2011. The upcoming fair will showcase the most outstanding new products from Spain’s suppliers of tools and machinery for the wood processing industry.

FIMMA, the International Fair for Machinery and Tools for the Wood Processing Industry, will be one of the industry’s biggest exhibitions and will cover machinery for first and second stage processing; plant and facilities; engineering and portable tools amongst other products.

MADERALIA, for its part, the International Fair for Suppliers to the Wood and Furniture Industries, will be showcasing the latest developments in fittings and locks, wood, veneers, board and edging, carpentry and timber-frame construction, chemical products and surface finishes; semi-processed products and new materials.

The last FIMMA-MADERALIA, in 2009, brought together the product offering of over 900 companies, with representatives of the wood processing and furniture manufacturing industry across the globe exhibiting, including companies from the United States, Argentina, Mexico, Iceland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Brazil, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Chile, Estonia and Croatia amongst other countries.
