SigmaTek Academy success
Cincinnati,OH- Oct 15, 2010- SigmaTEK Systems hosted their first SigmaTEK Academy Seminar Series from October 5-8, a seminar series targeted towards manufacturers using plasma, laser, punch and waterjet cutting machines. The educational series was aimed at helping fabricators improve their productivity, using the tools they already have.

“SigmaTEK Academy was an excellent learning experience,” says Kevin from General Sheet Metal. “If you host another event next year, we will definitely send more of our machine operators down”. The SigmaTEK Academy Series provided a tremendous opportunity for attendees to network and discuss manufacturing possibilities and challenges.

In the sponsor area, SigmaTEK Support hosted an “Ask an AE” conference room. This special break-out area gave attendees an additional avenue to ask questions about SigmaNEST and discuss interesting projects or manufacturing questions with an expert from the SigmaTEK Support Team.

The general sessions stimulated and educated the audience. This year’s SigmaTEK Academy was focused on productivity with technical seminars presented by OEM's, service professionals and machine technology experts. From discussions lead by John Leuzinger, Director of the SigmaTEK Services Group (SSG), to presentations from Mazak USA’s Director of Inside Sales, Keith Leuthold, the sessions included invaluable information to help manufacturers improve productivity.

“It is nearly impossible to get so many industry experts in the same room to give manufacturers access to their wealth of knowledge. This is what made SigmaTEK Academy such an excellent learning opportunity,” says Robert Kloczkowski of Rofin Sinar Laser. That’s what SigmaTEK Academy is all about: giving people the chance for face-to-face interaction and learning, a rare commodity in the age of Google-based education.
