At the biennial event, the market leader in printed decor paper will be underscoring its creative expertise not only at a fantastically designed booth (no. C20/E21 in Hall 6) but also at two other parts of the show.
In addition to a unique display of trends, new and proven decors, Smartfoil and Postfoil innovations and digital-print studies, Schattdecor will be causing a stir with a new dimension in decors that promises to galvanise customers and guests alike. Tactile surfaces will be the main focus, with the surface specialist demonstrating its mastery of surface effects and addressing the senses in an encompassing decor experience dedicated to visual qualities in register with enhanced textural finishes. In line with Schattdecor's slogan see × touch × feel, visitors will be wondering whether the exhibits are real or replica.

The following in particular are sure to meet with special attention:

Santana Oak
This very natural-looking decor offers fine pores and attractive detailing in the form of tiny knots and elegant long cathedrals for a subtly rustic effect. Oak is a top trend theme this year. With its attractive grain Santana Oak is suitable for a wide range of applications.

Wyoming Maple
This maple decor has a very fine fibrous texture and clearly delineated planking, and offers straightgrain and figured sections in equal proportion. A whitened effect rounds off the look.

Armagnac Elm
Subtle pores and densely-packed growth lines contribute to the mainly straightgrain look of Armagnac Elm. Occasional side-cut crotch figures introduce swirls of movement to the knotless structure.

Sonoma Oak
Developed in response to the demand for rough-sawn wood in a rustic 3D look, Sonoma Oak offers negative pores, square-cut saw marks and the crossfires typical of oak. Restrained planking and balanced and highly-effective colouration are further characteristics of note.

In addition to its boldly designed main booth (no. C20/E21) in Hall 6, Schattdecor will also display inkjet decor prints from its digitalVISIONS collection at the Piazza in Hall 6. And at a 40-square-metre dedicated booth at the Innovation of Interiors section in Hall 4.2, it will be showcasing 30 of the digitalVISIONS decors acclaimed by interior decorators and architects at Düsseldorf's recent Euroshop show.
With the welcoming character typical of Schattdecor showings, the main booth is sure to encourage guests and customers to return again and again and to join in the after-hours booth party on the second day of the fair. Themed to Schattdecor's new plants in Turkey and the USA and the company's continued foreign expansion, this event is sure to provide plenty of opportunity for networking and encounters in an informal atmosphere.
A generously-sized central coffee bar will form the main booth's social focus, flanked by three trend areas that reflect Schattdecor's design prowess and diversity of ideas, and a restaurant themed to a sensuous world of decors and culinary delights. The result will be an appropriate setting for new trend themes and decors, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a world of textures, surface effects and colour.
