LOS ANGELES –  J. Robert Scott, Inc. the internationally known luxury furniture and textile manufacturer announces that the United States Patent Office has issued patents to designer Sally Sirkin Lewis for her Andromeda Chair, Cloud Buffet, Ribbed Floor Lamp, and Linea Floor Lamp.

Sally Sirkin Lewis collects four new patents

Ms. Lewis’s design of the Andromeda Chair incorporates an inlaid mother-of-pearl chrysanthemum on the front and back of the glossy lacquered chair. The two lighting selections that have been granted patents feature distinguished surface details. The Linea Floor Lamp has an inset of sea snake skin in the recessed center panel. The Ribbed Floor Lamp (and shade) is entirely covered in leather, with double stitch detail. Finally, the Cloud Buffet, which takes its name from the cloud-like, carved, swirl detail, which is finished in silver leaf.

For the past four decades Ms. Lewis has distinguished herself as a pioneer in the design field. These four patents join a large family of exceptional furnishings that have met the standards of originality, and innovation and qualify them for a design patent from the U. S. government.
