Ann Arbor, Mich. — April 26, 2011— QualityCabinets™ is simplifying the design process for professionals with the introduction of 3-D cabinet models available in the Google 3D Warehouse. With the new model offerings, designers can select from a wide range of QualityCabinets styles and color options for almost any kitchen, bath or other space. The new collection is launching from the 2011 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) at QualityCabinets booth #C4837.

The collection will also include a 3-D kitchen model of a loft space designed with QualityCabinets to meet the needs of Generation Y. Attendees of the show can tour the loft at the QualityCabinets booth during the 2011 K/BIS. In addition to incorporating QualityCabinets, the loft includes DeNova™ countertops, which are also available in the 3D Warehouse.
Google SketchUp™ was developed to provide quick 3-D forms for conceptual stages of design, including a repository of 3-D objects that accelerate the design process, called the Google 3D Warehouse. SketchUp models can be converted into all major CAD products without having to draw designs twice.
The QualityCabinets 3-D models are modeled as Google Dynamic Components, allowing designers to show their clients a virtual kitchen, bath, home office or laundry room design with animated cabinet doors and drawers. The cabinets and countertops can be sized and resized to any of the brands’ available dimensions. Plus, users can access specification information embedded within each model and link back to each brand’s website for more information.
