Neumarkt -- At international construction trade fairs "Budma 2011“ to be held in Poznan, Poland, from January 11 to 14, and at “BAU 2011” to be held in Munich from January 17 to 22, SDAX-listed Pfleiderer AG (ISIN DE 996764749) will present for the first time its Global Collection of decorative surface finishes. As of January, they will be distributed through the three business centers: Western Europe, Eastern Europe and North America. The Global Collection starts with a selection of 22 wood finishes and will be regularly expanded.

“For the first time, we have a product offering spanning several continents, which will allow the Pfleiderer Group to carry out international projects without specially having to ship decorative panels. We are thus once again underscoring our international reach,” announced Pawel Wyrzykowski, Member of Pfleiderer’s Executive Board for Sales and Marketing.

An international team of specialists is responsible for the decorative patterns, reporting locally to the respective business centers and supported by external advisers. The project group is managed by Julia Goetz, who graduated in design and reports directly to the Executive Board Member for Sales and Marketing. With its comprehensive market overview, Pfleiderer is therefore in a position to supplement local decors with internationally successful trends.

The objective is to offer attractive decors to furniture industry, wood wholesalers and retailers, and project managers which go beyond the general mainstream trends but have been analyzed in terms of their international acceptance. The decors of the Global Collection feature balanced colors and can be combined well with the existing repertoire of the various Pfleiderer brands. The decors presented at the “BAU” trade fair in January can be combined – either as direct coating or as a laminate
– with nearly all of the wood base materials produced by the Pfleiderer
Group.

“We believe the Global Collection will be very successful. With it, we intend on the one hand to reflect the important design trends in the engineered-wood and furniture industries, such as those to be seen at the furniture trade fair in Milan. On the other hand, we also aim to look ahead and to provide new impetus for specific projects, especially international ones,” explained designer Julia Goetz. As well as at the “BAU” trade fair, the Global Collection will also be shown to an international audience in the context of numerous other trade fairs and multi-brand events.
