HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is proud to announce the winners of the 2009 NKBA President’s Award, which honors companies that have provided exceptional support of the NKBA during the previous year. The winners, Jenn-Air and Rohl, were recognized by Suzie Williford, the NKBA immediate past president, at the State of the Industry Address held in Chicago during the NKBA’s 2010 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).
“The National Kitchen & Bath Association is honored to present this year’s awards to Jenn-Air and Rohl, two companies that have been great supporters of NKBA education and our show, KBIS,” said Williford. “Their active participation and dedication to the association has been noted through the many sponsorships and generous donations they provide. Both are long-time exhibitors and supporters that we can continuously count on.”
The NKBA President’s Award was created to recognize supporters who are committed to helping the association and its members. This year’s award winners assisted through various educational partnerships, KBIS programs and long-time support and commitment to the association. Rohl sponsored the NKBA’s Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Seminar held during KBIS, and hosted the first in-person decorative plumbing course held in its many showrooms throughout the United States.
“We are honored to be recognized among our talented peers,” said Lou Rohl, COO/Managing Partner of ROHL. “We greatly value everything that the NKBA stands for, so to be presented with such a prestigious award is truly a privilege.”
In addition to its ongoing support of KBIS through donations, sponsorships and various commitments, Jenn-Air worked with the NKBA for its new Advanced Appliance course.
