NAW, Brown & Joseph launch cash advantage program
Washington, DC …The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) announced today that it entered into a strategic partnership with Brown & Joseph (B&J) to offer a suite of customizable accounts receivable recovery, working capital and liquidity solutions to its 32,000 industry member companies.

“We believe that Brown & Joseph and MSA have the industry expertise, financial experience and commitment to make this new relationship a powerful receivables management tool for wholesaler-distributors,” said Dirk Van Dongen, President of NAW. “Typically, a wholesaler-distributor has up to 40% of its assets in receivables, so this is a strategically critical area of management concern, especially in the current economic climate,” said Van Dongen.

NAW encompasses over 32,000 firms, representing virtually all products that move to market through wholesaler-distributors. Sales of U.S. wholesaler-distributors were $3.8 trillion in 2009.

Chris Cappuccilli, CEO of Brown & Joseph, states, “We are honored to be chosen by NAW as its affinity partner in the third party collection space. NAW’s membership base represents a significant portion of all commercial third party debt placed for collection in the U.S. and we’ve worked closely with NAW to develop a value driven approach for its member which will protect their profitability.”

Brown & Joseph and their long term industry partner, Management Services & Associates (MSA), will provide unique services to help firms in the wholesale distribution industry more effectively and efficiently manage their credit and collections functions.
