Mid Continent Cabinetry to plant 10,000 trees for Arbor Day

EAGAN, MN -- Mid Continent Cabinetry has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 10,000 trees in 365 days to support reforestation efforts. Customers who make a qualifying purchase are invited to register to have a tree planted in their name now through Arbor Day 2012.

"Mid Continent is committed to protecting the environment through a variety of methods including recycling, using recycled materials and preventing pollution by implementing eco-friendly work processes," said Rod Brewer, Vice President – Marketing and Product Development for Mid Continent Cabinetry. "This partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation adds to our current efforts that include using certified sustainable forest products in the construction of our products whenever possible."

Mid Continent Cabinetry customers who make a qualifying purchase during the next 12 months can register to have a tree planted in their name by visiting the Mid Continent web site at and clicking on the 10,000 Tree icon.

Mid Continent has made a $10,000 donation to the Arbor Day Foundation as part of this partnership.

Mid Continent's cabinetry features the Environmental Stewardship Program (EPS) certificate offered by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA). The EPS certification is based on compliance with five key categories: air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations.

Mid Continent Cabinetry offers more than 600 door style and finish combinations, nearly 1,100 cabinet types and styles, and over 400 decorative and finish combinations. The products are available through more than 1,000 dealers nationwide.
