LIGNA: Italian woodworking machines on display

300 Italian manufacturers of machinery, technology, tools, accessories and equipment for the processing of wood and wood-based materials are exhibiting at the upcoming Ligna in Hannover, to be held from 30 May to 3 June 2011.

Once again, Italy will bring the largest foreign delegation, second only to German companies. To industry professionals from all around the world, this team will present not only the best of our technology, but also the maturity, wide scope and effectiveness of solutions that arise from the know-how, experience and typical creativity of “made in Italy”.

Next to the big global brands, there will be many “specialists”, i.e. suppliers of high-tech solutions, tailor-made machines designed and manufactured to the specific requirements of customers and their processes.

Acimall – the Confindustria member association representing the Italian woodworking machinery industry – is also attending the event with its own area (hall 15, stand C39), to provide information and documentation to anyone interested in our industry.

On this occasion, we will present the Annual report 2010, a highly appreciated document that provides a detailed picture of Italian woodworking technology and an in-depth analysis of the trends and dynamics of main competitors, comparing and analyzing the global export of leading market actors, namely Italy, Germany, Austria, China, Taiwan and the United States. Together with the Web sites of all Acimall member companies, the report includes a detailed description of Italian and global economy developments, Italian and international mechanical capital goods.

At Ligna, we will also distribute the new edition of the Acimall catalog, offering a comprehensive review of all Italian companies. For each company, the catalog presents a fact sheet with address, Web site and e-mail address, the production codes of all machines included in the production program, and a picture that represents the core application field. A real “guide” where industry operators from all over the world can have the entire offer of made-in-Italy technology at hand's reach!
