Kimball Office committed to reforestation, communities

JASPER, IN — In celebration of Arbor Day, April 29, Kimball(R) Office is excited to make a monetary contribution towards the Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities plant trees, establish and maintain conservation efforts, and provide environmental educational programs. The donation, made on behalf of employees, clients, local communities, and the architecture and design industry, helps further the manufacturer’s dedication to its Trees for Tomorrow initiative. The program has planted and provided more than 400,000 trees and seedlings for neighborhood enhancement, community recovery efforts, and global reforestation projects.

“We strive to help our employees, community and business partners identify ways in which they can contribute towards the preservation of the environment,” said Georgy Olivieri, Director of Architecture and Design and Sustainability Strategies. “Over the past 20 years, our Trees for Tomorrow program has provided communities across North America with a wide variety of American hardwood and softwood species that support greater diversity.”

Additionally, seven of the company’s facilities are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED(R)) certified.
