LEESBURG, VA — REHAU’s SoftEdge™ edgeband line offers an impact cushioning technology for softer, quieter cabinet operation. SoftEdge also provides enhanced sealing that improves protection for the inside of the cabinet against dust and other elements.

Ideal for office and kitchen furniture, cabinetry and partitioning wall systems, SoftEdge edgeband features a specially developed hollow-bead cushioning element that insulates the sound of impact while also forming a tighter seal between the door and cabinet. The element can be positioned in a central or transverse slanted location within the overall edgeband design, depending on individual application needs.

SoftEdge is applied to all four narrow surfaces of the cabinet door board, with either edge-to-edge abutment or mitered corners. It is available in traditional and non-PVC materials, and in a wide range of colors and decorative patterns that match a broad selection of board designs. SoftEdge is available in white and in 7/8” x 0.8 mm (22 x 0.8 mm) sizes in smaller, off-the-shelf quantities through REHAU’s Express Collection stocking program.
