idX Opens Mexico City Office, Hires New Executive

idX Corporation, the worldwide retail solutions provider, has announced it has opened a Mexico City office and hired a new executive to support its growing international business.

The office will provide regional project management for idX clients as they continue to expand into Mexico and Central America.

Jimena Sotres has joined idX as Account Executive, based in the Mexico City office. Sotres has more than 10 years of experience with architectural firms in Mexico. She has managed projects for national brands such as Coach, Armani, Brooks Brothers, Michael Kors, Guess? and Nike.

In her most recent position with Forma Architects, Sotres led a project management team, oversaw manufacturing, construction and installation efforts, and played a key role in customer communication.

In the next few months, idX will expand the Mexico City staff, adding further to its project management and engineering capabilities in the region.
