Hermance Machine Company (Williamsport, PA) will be hosting an exposition featuring interactive and educational seminars on May 12th and 13th 2011 (8AM-4PM). Presentations and live machine demonstrations relevant to the Wood, Plastics, Composites, and Metal Industries will provide a wide variety of education in one event. With such favorable reaction to the expo last year, Hermance will again provide the opportunity to see the latest in manufacturing processes with a focus on demonstrating how best to effectively integrate machines from different manufacturers.

Some of the hands-on education programs include: setup and maintenance of a variety of different machinery and processes including edgebander setup and maintenance, moulder setup and knife grinding, CNC fixturing and setup, dovetail drawer box construction, optimizing saw systems, lean manufacturing, material handling/ labor reduction techniques and many others. Attendees can expect to acquire in-depth knowledge of the processes, without needing to personally know specifics to ask the sales rep, as in traditional shows

Manufacturer’s representatives from the top lines in the Industry will be there for the hands-on application forums and to address individual projects as well.
