Hanwha Surfaces launches multilingual website

Atlanta — Hanwha L&C | Surfaces, the leading global manufacturer of quartz and solid surfaces, announced today the launch of their Spanish language website. The new site --www.hanwhasurfaces.com--is a replica of the English language website and offers the same user interface, company information, marketing/educational materials and product descriptions. The Spanish language website will support Hanwha Surfaces’ efforts to market their products to Spanish speaking architects, designers and consumers. Hanwha Surfaces plans to launch a French language site by summer 2011.

According to the 2009 American Community Survey conducted by the United States Census Bureau, Spanish is the primary language spoken at home by more than 35.5 million people aged five or older. In addition, there are 45 million Hispanics who speak Spanish as a first or second language. It is due to this tremendous growth in Spanish speaking individuals that Hanwha Surfaces chose to launch the Spanish language website.

“Hanwha Surfaces is committed to creating an online user experience that appeals not only to consumers here in the United States but also around the globe,” said Hanwha Surfaces Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Thompson. “With the launch of our new Spanish language website and the upcoming release of a French language site, Hanwha Surfaces is able to share information about our innovative products to an even broader audience.”
