Hanwha Surfaces launches design contest

Atlanta, GA – Hanwha L&C | Surfaces, the leading global manufacturer of quartz and solid surfaces, announced today the launch of their new “Inspiration is Everywhere” online contest as part of an ongoing campaign aimed at the architecture and design community. The objective of this campaign is to connect with architects and designers as well as learn what inspires them and their creativity in their daily work.

“The goal of this online contest is to see what inspires individuals; whether it be something found in nature, a city scape or a unique color deign or color palette – inspiration can be found just about any place you look,” said Hanwha Surfaces Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Thompson. “Through this campaign we want to show architects and designers how their inspiration inspires us to create new products to meet their needs.”

The “Inspiration is Everywhere” campaign launched April 11 and runs through October 31. Participants have several chances to win a variety of prizes including the grand prize “Wonder Bundle” that includes a 50-inch 3D television, Oakley 3D glasses, a 3D Blu-ray player and a series of DVDs on architectural wonders. Participants are asked to visit the contest website – and submit a photo or short video along with a brief description (100 words or less) about what it is that inspires them. In addition to having the chance to win the grand prize, the top 10 entries to receive the most Tweets or Facebook Likes will receive an iPad 2. Hanwha Surfaces will give away four iPod Shuffles from a random drawing of individuals who visit the contest website and complete the registration form.

Hanwha Surfaces launched this contest through an integrated marketing campaign that includes Inspiration Kits, targeted direct mail/response postcards and an e-mail blast designed to drive traffic to the contest website.
