Hanwha gathers distributors on 2011 market needs

Atlanta, GA – Hanwha L&C | Surfaces, the leading global manufacturer of quartz and solid surfaces, recently convened select distributors for their annual meeting to review marketplace conditions, trends and needs for 2011. Hanwha Surfaces organized the team of distributors in 2009 as a part of their rebranding initiative to not only enhance existing relationships with distributors but also garner insights to more effectively drive new product development and channel marketing support and customer service.

"We greatly value our distributors’ market insight and feedback," stated Joe Thompson, Hanwha Surfaces vice president of sales and marketing. "They are our eyes and ears to the marketplace — offering a different point of view toward our opportunities and challenges. Hanwha Surfaces distributor group, referred to as the Marketing Advisory Team, is comprised of their leading distributors across North America. Distributors participating in the meeting included LEEZA Distribution, BPI and MSP. The two-day meeting, hosted by Hanwha Surfaces’ marketing leaders and advertising agency, reviewed 2010 initiatives and provided distributors with a glimpse into the .Power of Momentum. program for 2011. Topics discussed included a review of marketplace conditions and opportunities along with competitive reviews, best practices for marketing and promotional efforts and next steps to increase marketing and sales support.
