The new model 50-200R M1 10” Left tilt 2HP cabinet saw from General International includes both a riving style splitter/blade guard assembly with anti-kickback pawls and a separate European style riving knife.

The 50-200R is equipped with a 2 HP Dual voltage motor that drives the precision machined arbor via a multi-groove (serpentine style) v-belt and is factory wired for 230V operation. The 50-200R features a large easy access paddle style stop switch, a large 44” x 27” full cast-iron table (including extensions), large polished steel hand wheels for smooth easy blade height and tilt adjustments, and a convenient arbor lock which allows for fast one-tool blade changes.
Sporting a ruggedly built carriage with cabinet mounted cast-iron trunnions and a large motor access door for quick cleaning and easier maintenance, the 50-200R is factory supplied with a sturdy front and rear locking, easy to adjust aluminum T-style rip fence with 30” right rip capacity steel guide rails, and a deluxe miter gauge.

The 4” dust port on the cabinet is connected to an internal dust hose and dust chute to draw dust directly from below the blade. The saw cabinet is also equipped with convenient storage hooks for the fence, miter gauge and arbor wrench to avoid clutter in the work area.

The General International 50-200R M1 is currently retailing for $999.99 (valid until at least Feb 28th, 2011) and can be ordered from most General/General International retail distributors – a complete list of distributors can be found on our website.
