Titebond GREENchoice Advanced Polymer Panel Adhesive has excellent initial grab and develops the strength of its urethane and solvent-based counterparts in one-sixth the time. Record-quick strength and all-solids formulation enable this panel adhesive to bond just about any porous or non-porous material to the toughest surface without the use of fasteners — or environmentally harmful, flammable solvent.

Franklin International, a pioneer in the development of high-performance, eco-friendly construction adhesives and sealants, now introduces a powerful and versatile new panel adhesive — Titebond® GREENchoice® Advanced Polymer Panel Adhesive — that is green in two critical ways: First, it meets high standards for green building; at the same time, it surpasses the contractor’s demand for initial green grab — and ultra-swift strength development.

Titebond Advanced Polymer Panel Adhesive builds strength in one-sixth the time of urethane or solvent-based panel adhesives. The new Titebond adhesive will develop as much strength in four hours as its urethane or solvent-based counterparts will in 24. Strong initial green grab and record-quick speed development — combined with the all-solids formulation of this revolutionary adhesives — enable contractors to install virtually any type of paneling on either porous or non-porous substrates, without the use of unsightly fasteners.

This ultra-versatile adhesive can bond any combination of a long list of substrates, including non-porous to non-porous. It is ideal for use with FRP, PVC, tub surrounds, wood, foam, laminate, treated (fire-rated) plywood, metal (galvanized and stainless steel), foam board, ceramic tile, sealed concrete (including below grade), vinyl, fiberglass-faced and/or mold-resistant gypsum board, as well as most other types of common porous and non-porous building materials. It is especially easy and cost-effective in remodeling jobs, where panels can be installed over existing panels, tile, sealed concrete, etc., without requiring expensive, time-consuming tear-down and rebuilding of existing walls.

Although it is the toughest panel adhesive on the market, the new Titebond Advanced Polymer Panel Adhesive is extremely easy on the environment. As a VOC-free adhesive, it earns Franklin’s top designation as a Titebond GREENchoice product. Unlike solvent-based products, the new Advanced Polymer Panel Adhesive enables construction professionals to meet the toughest VOC restrictions. It also is odor-free, nonflammable and resistant to moisture, mold and mildew.

In addition to being easy on the environment, the new Titebond Panel Adhesive is easy to apply and user-friendly. Contractors will find it easy to trowel and to clean up when still wet. Its strong initial green grab also enhances ease and speed of installation.

"As a leader in green adhesives and sealants, we strive to develop products that are both environmentally friendly and that offer the superior level of performance the contractors we serve expect from Titebond products," said Franklin’s director of marketing, Craig Stone. "Our new panel adhesive achieves that combination, and, in fact, offers contractors a new level of performance in panel adhesion."

Titebond Advanced Polymer Panel Adhesive is available in 3.5-gallon plastic pails and is available through specialty- and FRP-panel distributors.
