ORLANDO, FL--CMI’s new CraftMaster® Conmore™ molded, flat-panel interior door combines classic panel design with a smooth-surfaced elegance, making it ideal for a wide range of home styles and personal decorating preferences. The new door was unveiled at the 2011 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla., January 12-15.

The Conmore is the second in a series of molded, flat-panel doors within the CraftMaster Interior Door family. Available in 6’8” and 7’0” passage and bifold sizes, Conmore features five horizontal panels, and can be specified with either finger joint or MDF stiles and rails. With its solid core construction, the new flat-panel door provides enhanced dimensional stability, durability and excellent sound insulating properties.

“We’ve had a tremendous response to our non-raised panel doors, since we introduced the three-panel CraftMaster Crossmore® at IBS in 2008,” said Bob Merrill, CMI president and CEO. “Our new, five-panel Conmore door is a very simple, clean and authentic style that appeals to both the traditional and modern consumer.”

As home builders, consumers and commercial property managers increasingly demand sustainable building materials, CraftMaster molded door designs offer several green benefits:
* Contain a minimum of 70 percent pre-consumer recycled wood content;
* Contribute to industry programs, such as LEED® for Commercial Interiors, LEED for New Construction and Major Renovations, LEED for Homes, and the National Green Building Standard™;
* Certified by third-party certifier, Scientific Certification Systems, to have no added urea formaldehyde;
* Made with low VOC primers and adhesives; and
* Comply with the California Air Resources Board’s Airborne Toxic Control Measure 93120 Phase 2 formaldehyde emission limits for composite wood as certified by the Composite Panel Association, a third-party certifier.

Like all CraftMaster interior doors, the Conmore is manufactured by CMI from molded, high-density fiberboard to resist shrinking, cracking and joint separation, which may occur in wood doors. It is also covered by a five-year limited warranty that includes defects in material and workmanship from the original purchase date and applies to the original installation. Costs of labor, installation or finishing for any replacement door are excluded.
