NORTH PALM BEACH, FL, December 29, 2010  CARLS FURNITURE, one of the most respected high quality home furniture retailers in the Florida market, will close two stores to better serve their customers!! All of Carl's showrooms will be remaining open.

Since 1941, Carls Furniture has supplied designer furniture and been part of the dreams of thousands of Florida families on Florida's east coast. Currently Carls Furniture operates nine retail stores and a couple of clearance centers with collectively over 1,000,000 square feet of retail display. Carls Furniture vendors include such industry icons as Robert Baker Home, Century, Bernhardt, Chateau Dax, Natuzzi Editions, Sealy, Sterns and Foster and dozens of the most respect suppliers in the industry.

To insure the continuing focus on design services and outstanding customer support that Carl's Furniture has maintained throughout 69 years of continuous service, the company is closing their Stuart and North Palm Beach stores. These limited time Store closings will not affect their other locations. All merchandise previously purchased or on order will be delivered and serviced.

Economically the Florida home furnishing market has suffered for the last several years. The Carls Furniture Stuart and North Palm Beach Stores will close without further notice when all furniture on hand in these stores is sold. While inventory remains at the North Palm Beach and Stuart locations only, these stores will conduct A TOTAL INVENTORY- TOTAL LIQUIDATION- STORE CLOSING EVENT!

Everything IN THESE TWO STORES ONLY will be LIQUIDATED to the bare walls, REGARDLESS OF COST without honoring MANUFACTURE'S MINIMUM PRICING STANDARDS.

Although disappointed with closing their North Palm Beach and Stuart locations, the owners of Carls Furniture were most positive, commenting that the store closing sale would provide an opportunity to say "Thank You for the memories" to local customers by offering prices and furniture values at these two locations never offered before in their more than half a century of operation.

The Carls Furniture ownership concluded their announcement of the Stuart and North Palm Beach stores by saying: "We thank all of our customers for the wonderful memories associated at these stores. The STORE CLOSING AND TOTAL LIQUIDATION ONLY AT STUART AND NORTH PALM BEACH and the liquidation of millions of dollars of fine quality home furnishings and handmade oriental rugs will start promptly at 10:00 AM Wednesday

December 29th, 2010.

This event is only at these two stores and will continue only while furniture remains in these locations. This once in a life time special event will allow us to offer the best values in our history, in appreciation of our customer's loyalty. We hope everyone will find the furniture of their dreams early while selection is the best".
