FAIR LAWN, NJ — CALMAC, a leader in energy storage systems, announced CEO Mark MacCracken has been selected as Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Board of Directors for the 2011 calendar year. MacCracken is also serving as Director in the Energy Services Seat.

The USGBC Board of Directors is responsible for articulating and upholding the vision, values and mission of USGBC. The mission: transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
