ArrowheadWood.com launches blog
Master craftsman and founder of http://www.ArrowheadWood.com, Brian Hegerhorst, is pleased to debut his new business blog, ArrowheadWoodBlog.com. Launched in May, the blog gives shoppers insight into the design and building process behind each exceptional piece of Danish Modern and contemporary furniture that comes out of the ArrowheadWood.com workshop.

“I have had a love of furniture since I was 14 years old,” said Hegerhorst. “I was in a shop class and started skipping gym just so I could keep hammering away in the workshop.”

At ArrowheadWood.com customers can browse through a collection of gorgeous solid wood furniture. The site specializes in pieces for the bedroom and living room. Choose a six-drawer Danish Modern chest of drawers, a Rebecca Lynn five-drawer dresser, or a contemporary six-drawer dresser. Outfit an entire bedroom with a Danish Modern bedroom set that comes with two night stands, one dresser, and a queen size bed. Twin bead board beds, twin bead rustic alder raised panel beds, and platform beds are also available. Store DVDs, DVD players, and audio system equipment in a chic, contemporary entertainment stand and place a flat-screen T.V. on an equally sleek television stand. Complete the look of the room with a Danish Modern coffee table, end tables, and add a cedar chest for extra storage.

All furniture sold on ArrowheadWood.com is made in the U.S.A. Because the furniture is made in-house, all orders are customizable. Customers can mix and match designs, collaborate on new designs, choose wood type, and select from 26 different finishes. Testimonials on the handcraft and vintage-focused website Etsy are 100 percent positive, with clients raving over the quality of custom orders.

Purchasing an ArrowheadWood.com creation is a hassle-free process. Items typically ship within four to five weeks- a fast turn around for custom pieces especially. Blanket wrapped furniture shipping companies are used to minimize any damage that can occur during transport. White glove shipments, where movers bring the furniture into a home, can be arranged. All purchases can be returned for a full refund; although, Hegerhorst does his best to personally address and correct any issues with orders.

“I’ve been in this business now for 18 years,” said Hegerhorst. “I’m not just some guy who learned woodworking in the garage; I’ve gone to school. I learned from one of the best woodworkers in the world.”

That same passion for perfection extends to the rest of the artisans who work in the Arrowhead workshop. “From my sander down to my gluer- they’re picky. I’m very proud of the work they do,” said Hegerhorst. “Together, we make pieces that are going to last a lifetime.”

Customers can get a peak inside a master craftsman’s workshop through the site’s brand new interactive blog, http://www.ArrowheadWoodBlog.com. Hegerhorst posts detailed descriptions of his designs, construction techniques, and discusses the qualities of the different woods and finishes used in the process.
