Armstrong Cabinets named preferred Norandex vendor

PLANO, TX -- Armstrong® Cabinet Products, a division of Armstrong World Industries, Inc., has been named a Silver Preferred Vendor by Norandex Building Materials Distribution, Inc. Norandex, which has 105 distribution branches nationwide, and Armstrong are partnering to serve the single-family new construction, remodeling, light commercial and multi-family markets.

"Armstrong enjoys a great partnership with Norandex. Their commitment to building sustainable success, with a clear focus on delivering the quality of products and services that professional customers value, blends well with the Armstrong brand's great products and services," said Michael A. Glaser, CKD, Director, National Accounts, Armstrong Cabinet Products.

"Armstrong's commitment to service has governed the way Armstrong conducts its business," said Van Garber, Vice President, Marketing for Norandex. "Armstrong excels in both the ease of the cabinetry ordering process, along with timeliness of product delivery and the condition of the cabinets upon arrival. These are important aspects of a building or remodeling project that can make or break a customer's timeline. If a construction delay occurs, it can mean additional expense and inconvenience for the customer."

Armstrong focuses on service and quality through its branded Pinnacle Service to assure ongoing customer satisfaction. "We believe that innovative products and service go hand-in-hand," said Glaser.

Norandex is best known for its highly-regarded professional sales organization and for offering the highest quality residential and light commercial products to professional builders and contractors. In addition to providing windows, doors and siding, Norandex supplies its customers with many other products including asphalt and metal roofing, fiber cement, stucco, composite siding, and composite decking.

"Since 1946, we've been dedicated to searching out new and innovative ways to improve the quality of our products and services. This strategic focus drives our business today and drives us to identify key partners such as Armstrong who share this vision," said Garber.

Most recently, Norandex and Armstrong have partnered on sustainable building projects in New Orleans to help rebuild after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. "Low emission 'green' housing is the future and Armstrong's Origins Series cabinets helped Norandex provide products that are not only beautiful, but contribute to the homes' LEED® certification," said Glaser.

Armstrong Cabinets manufactures kitchen and bath cabinetry through its showrooms and distribution centers nationwide. Armstrong offers stylish products built with enduring value, and backed by the 150 year heritage of the Armstrong brand.
