2014 will be a milestone for Wood Processing Machinery & Intermob fairs which bring together the leader companies of Turkey and the world in the field of forestry products and furniture side industry. Extending up to 120.000 m2 exhibition area by 2 new halls, the fairs will be held by the highest level of participation with also new exhibitors on Sept. 27- Oct. 1, 2014 at Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center, Buyukcekmece, Istanbul.
Considering the economic fluctuations and ups and downs in the market, the fairs are continuing in arguably to be the most important fairs of the sector in Eurasia and to grow steadily since 27 years. Organized by the attendence of 880 company and company representatives from 30 countries with full capacity in 12 halls in the last year; in 2014, the sales target has been achived at the rate of 90 % 2 months prior to the beginning date of the fair. By 80 % growing in the exhibition area in the last 4 years, this year, the fairs will be exhibited in 14 halls.
THE COME-BACK OF THE LEADER COMPANIES WILL PUT A NEW FACE ON THE FAIRS
Beside the exhibitors attend to the fairs with a larger space, in 2014, the come-back of the leader companies will also put a new face to the fairs. This year, many companies as Roma Plastik, Kapsan, Tem Aksesuar, Kent-Viole- operating in furniture side and accessories industry; Sar Profil, SFC-operating in wood and forestry products industry; DYO- producer of woodwork paints; Bosch-producer of machinery and hand tools used in furniture industry and Özcanlar-producer of door handle and accessories will take place in the fairs.
UPHOLSTERY FABRICS SECTION IS GROWING BY THE PARTICIPATION OF NEW COMPANIES
In 2014, the attendence of the companies operating in upholstery fabrics industry will also lend colour to the fairs. The leader producers of upholstery fabrics, accessories, quilting and fabrics- cutting machines as Bekaert, Kisbu, Furniçin, Glengo, İlke Sünger, Güven Vida, Bols, Erike and Tetaş Tekstil will exhibit their last products in the fairs.
The fairs will bring again a wide range of products including forestry products, furniture accessories, seating groups and bad manufacturing materials.
THE UNIQUE SHOWCASE FOR THE INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS
By the the attendence of around 1000 companies from more than 30 countries, the fairs will be again the first address of innovation and last technologies for the industry professionals in Eurasia. It is expected the fairs to host more than 65.000 visitors from 90 countries. During the fairs, qualified visitors consisting of 75 % decision-maker professionals will also meet to take the opportunity of observing last technologies.
THE GATE OF ACCESS TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
Countdown for the biggest meeting of the industry has started. With their 1,5 billion population and developing economies The Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East, North Africa and Black Sea Basin are very important markets for wood and furniture industry in Turkey that has an export capacity of 1,9 billion dollars. Through the marketing activities running in also abroad offices of Tuyap located in Moscow, Skopje, Cairo, Tehran, Sofia and Tbilisi; it is aimed the exhibitors to take more market shares from these regions.
Hosted 88 % visitors from Eurasia in 2013, the fairs are aiming also to provide unique opportunities to the international exhibitors who are in search of new markets through Turkey and Turkish producers.
The Turkish Ministry of Economy will provide support to the industry professionals from 52 countries including Albania, Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Libya, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mongolia, Moldova, Morocco, Norway, Qatar, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, UAE, Uzbekistan within the scope of the fairs.
By also the support of industrial associations, publications, online portals, NGO’s and educational institutions, professional visitors are invited from the four corners of Turkey and the world in the concept of sales and marketing activities continuing at a full speed.
