WMMA Offers Industry Resources

Forest Hill, MD – The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), the national trade association for those who make machinery, cutting tools and supplies for the woodworking industry, offers resources to end users around the world. Those who are looking into purchasing American-made machinery, supplies and tools will find a wealth of information in WMMA. Many of these resources are available free of charge, and are easily accessible.

Some of the advantages and resources of WMMA are as follows:

· WMMA's website, www.wmma.org, includes information on the Association, its board of directors, committees, projects and activities; it also includes the latest information on exporting and other efforts.

· One of WMMA's most important resources, also found on its website, is its Product Guide. This is a definitive listing of all WMMA member companies, relevant personnel and contact information, and products produced. The Product Guide allows end users to find information they are looking for quickly and easily. Search features include product type, company name and more. The Product Guide is a free service, but an invaluable resource.

· Social Media: WMMA maintains an active social media profile, posting on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Information about industry trends, exporting issues and more can be found there, as can contact information about companies interested in increasing their scope of business outside the U.S.

· Industry Meetings: WMMA is represented at international meetings and conventions including IWF and LIGNA (see below), and U.S. meetings and conventions, such as the Wood Industry Conference, AWFS and more. In addition, WMMA has maintained an active presence in the Canadian market through WMS.

· LIGNA Activity: WMMA will have a pavilion showcasing American woodworking machinery manufacturers at LIGNA. The WMMA Pavilion will be in Hall 12, Booth F16.
