Bel Air, MD – The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), the national trade association for those who make machinery, cutting tools and supplies for the woodworking industry, has announced that it has moved its management operations to Maryland. WMMA will be managed by Stringfellow Management Group, an association management company located near Baltimore. The transition became effective on June 1.
SMG staff who will be serving WMMA are as follows:

John Schultz, president of WMMA, noted, "The WMMA Board has gone through an extensive and comprehensive search for new management over the past few months and we’re excited about our choice in SMG. SMG specializes in managing trade associations and has specific experience with manufacturing and construction-related associations."

The new staff will be representing WMMA at the International Woodworking Fair, to be held Aug. 22-24 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
