Vecoplan hires Carter as electrical engineer

Archdale, NC -- Vecoplan Integrated Controls, North America’s leading manufacturer of industrial control panels and plant-wide integrated control systems, has added Ron Carter to its Electrical Engineering team. In addition to a BSET from UNCC, Carter brings over 20 years of experience to his new position at VIC. His background includes both practical experience from stints at Commonwealth Brands, Lucent Technologies, and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, as well as theoretical experience as the lead Electronics Engineering instructor at Rockingham Community College.

Carter’s responsibilities will include coordinating the design and development of individual control panels and turnkey controls integration for manufacturing plants. In order to ensure continuous quality control, he will also oversee the manufacture and implementation of his projects once the engineering phase has been completed. “With the projects already in VIC’s pipeline we needed someone that could hit the ground running, Ron’s knowledge base combined with his field experience make him a perfect fit for VIC,” states Todd Carswell, VP of Technical Services at Vecoplan Integrated Controls.
