Vauth-Sagel Commits to Manufacturing in Germany

Modern production facilities, a concentration on unique competencies, a partnership-like relationship with its customers, superlative product quality, increasing globalisation and a focus on the ‘Made in Germany’ quality attribute form the secure foundations of the family-run Vauth-Sagel Group. And have been doing so for the last five decades. In the future, the company will be globally communicating its quality pledge more proactively and has designed new product labels with sales-boosting messages. Today, the globally-accepted and well-known ‘Made in Germany’ quality seal is more current than ever before. In all important sales markets around the globe, this attribute not only stands for the highest product quality, it is also a pledge for delivery reliability and comprehensive services.

Vauth-Sagel Commits to Manufacturing in Germany“We have restructured our company over the past few years. We have improved and optimised many things and today we are communicating our comprehensive material competencies to customers more prominently, for example. During this process, we kept hearing our inherent ‘Made in Germany’ quality attribute being mentioned in numerous conversations with our global partners. We have recognised that we did not fully exploit this value-added factor in the past. In the future, it will be possible to clearly see that our products, instructions, brochures and packaging originate from Germany and from us. We hope that our customers will continue to be able to do valuable and sustainable business with our system components”, comments Managing Director Claus Sagel.

Ecology and sustainability for the global markets

The Vauth-Sagel Group has been committed to Germany as a production site for decades now. The current, second generation of entrepreneurs is conscious that the topics of ecology and sustainability will play ever-more important roles in the future. We have invested heavily in this area over the past few years – in state-of-the-art lacquering systems, regenerative heat recovery and the continual modernisation of the machinery, for example. This stance is firmly anchored within the philosophy of the entrepreneurial family, which can now also communicate in a simple and globally-understandable manner on the basis of the current FSC and ISO 14001 certifications.

FSC is the acronym for ‘Forest Stewardship Council®’ and is an international certification system for the forestry sector introduced at the 1993 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Ten globally-valid principles guarantee that wood and paper products with the FSC seal are sourced from responsiblymanaged forests. And Vauth-Sagel fulfils this requirement, because – despite all the efficiency – the topic of ecology plays a major role within the company, as does ISO 14001: this international environmental management standard defines the globally-recognised requirements for environmental management systems, whereby the company is obligated to continually improve its entire environmental performance – in other words, the ecological balance sheets, key environmental figures and environmental performance assessments.

Various labels reflect the ‘inner’ values of the owner-run group

In the future, various labels will make reference to the addedvalue offered by Vauth-Sagel products. These labels can be attached to all products in a customer-specific manner and can also be supplemented with tags that include further information. By focusing on the ‘Made in Germany’ quality attribute, sustainable production and innovative products, Vauth-Sagel has once again embarked on the right path – one that leads towards successfully further developing a company that will be also able to sustainably make its mark over the next 50 years in the various sectors and the different markets.

Vauth-Sagel

To this end, Vauth-Sagel specifically deploys its many years of wire, steel, sheet metal, wood and plastic material competencies. Around 850 employees develop and manufacture far more than 85 million ‘Made in Germany’ quality products each year. In-house logistics and a global sales and distribution team round off the tailored range of products and services for clients throughout the world.
