Vauth-Sagel ‘Around the World’ – International Presence Expanded

As a system component manufacturer for the kitchen and furniture industries, the Vauth-Sagel Group provides a broad range of products – available around the globe. The family-owned and -run company, based in eastern Westphalia, distributes its product innovations in wire, steel, sheet metal, wood and plastic to 55 countries throughout the world and is continually expanding its sales and distribution network. New to our network is a distribution partner in Norway, which will be supplying the local market with quality ‘Made in Germany’ products from now on. In addition to newly-entering this, for us, nascent market, there have also been some structural changes in New Zealand and in Switzerland. Furthermore, Vauth-Sagel has set up its own site with production facilities and two warehouses in the US.

Vauth-Sagel teams up with SFS unimarket in Switzerland

There has been a change in the trading partner network in Switzerland. The trading partner to date has retired. An experienced successor – SFS unimarket, part of the SFS Group and located in Heerbrugg – has been in place since spring 2013. SFS unimarket is a leading Swiss provider of fastening technology, special parts, tools, fittings and chemical-technical products in Switzerland and neighbouring countries.

Business ‘down under’ in future with the Access Group

And there was an announcement regarding a move to a new trading partner in New Zealand as well. In May 2013, Vauth-Sagel was able to acquire Access Group Ltd. from Willsford as a partner ‘down under’. The Access Group has been supplying customers throughout New Zealand for the past thirty years. The company is a leading provider for the New Zealand kitchen industry, with a focus on diverse storage space solutions and waste containers.

New Norwegian trading partner – Nibu AS

Nibu AS, based in Spikkestad near Drammen, has been Vauth-Sagel’s trading partner in Norway since August 2013. The company is one of Norway’s leading specialists for kitchen and interior construction. The products are distributed through kitchen shops, plumbing suppliers, building product vendors and hardware stores throughout the country. Furthermore, Nibu is an important supplier to bathroom and home furniture manufacturers. “Finding a competent partner who complements us was important to us. With Nibu, we can now really get the Norwegian market moving, lavishing our attention on the entire country and its specific customer requirements”, comments Heinz-Otto Sagel.

Conquering the Spanish market in collaboration with Häfele

Vauth-Sagel and Häfele will already be sharing a stand at the Maderalia Valencia trade fair (February 11-14, 2014). Because as of the start of the new year, Vauth-Sagel has been collaborating with its new trading partner – Häfele – in Spain, a venture that commenced on January 1.

Vauth-Sagel establishes its own company in the US

Vauth-Sagel is becoming directly active on the American continent. The existing joint venture with a local partner has been continued through our own American operation since September 1, 2013. Among other things, the newly-established company is supplying customers with country-specific system components”.

“Together with the new and existing distribution partners, we will continue to expand our presence in the respective markets and to intensify customised liaison for our clientèle. We have considerably expandable market shares in many countries around the globe. Our declared aim is to considerably expand our market shares here and to not just continually increase our export ratio, but to also establish and maintain sustainable and close customer relationships”, explains Heinz-Otto Sagel.
