UltraCraft Cabinetry Adding 40 Jobs

LIBERTY, NC (April 2, 2012) – Ultracraft Cabinetry will add production capacity for its Destiny line of cabinets this June. The capacity will come through the addition of a second shift finishing operation comprised of approximately 40 new employees.

The addition of jobs will initially increase finishing capacity by 20% once operational and is dictated by a growth in demand of its products in all markets throughout the country.

Ultracraft President Simon Solomon said, “We are confident that the sustained gains we have made in the market reflect the focus we have placed on developing our Destiny line of products.”

Ultracraft manufactures and distributes semi-custom cabinets to independent dealers throughout the United States. It currently employs 210 employees in Liberty, North Carolina producing a range of products from high-gloss contemporary styles to traditional wood designs.

Interested applicants can apply through the company website by clicking on the “Careers” link under the “About Us” tab at www.ultracraft.com. They will be interviewing prospective employees to fill positions in all job grades and start training in May.

Butch Reimer, Sr. Vice-President of Operations credited their strong team with delivering on market expectations during the recent recession to create this expansion.
