DALLAS - Former United States Securities and Exchange Commission attorney Willie Briscoe and the securities litigation firm of Powers Taylor, LLP are investigating the sale of U.S. Home Systems, Inc. (“U.S. Home Systems” or “USHS”) (NASDAQ: USHS) to The Home Depot for shareholders. Under the proposed transaction, U.S. Home Systems shareholders will receive $12.50 per share for each share of U.S. Home Systems stock owned. The proposed price is below the $14.75 that U.S. Home Systems shares traded for on March 1, 2012.

There is no cost or fee to you.
The proposed transaction is valued at approximately $93.4 million.
The investigation centers on whether U.S. Home Systems shareholders are receiving adequate compensation for their shares in the buyout, whether the transaction undervalues U.S. Home Systems stock, and whether U.S. Home Systems’ board attempted to obtain the highest share price for all shareholders prior to agreeing to the deal. Notably, as recently as March 1, 2012, shares of U.S. Home Systems traded for $14.75. “Due to these factors, we believe that the transaction may undervalue U.S. Home Systems stock. Our lawsuit will seek to obtain the highest share price for all shareholders,” said shareholder rights attorney Willie Briscoe.
