NEW YORK – Newly reintroduced by Architectural Systems, Tropical Organix™ brings a contemporary organic sensibility into commercial environments. The natural tapestry of coconut shells, teakwood and palmwood add an artisan-‐ crafted aesthetic to walls, ceilings, furnishings and display elements.
“These Tropical Organix™ panels, in their native hues, create dimensional and tactile patterns, offering a fresh take on sustainable interior finishes,” said Nancy Jackson, president of Architectural Systems.
This collection consists of recycled content, rapidly renewable and low-‐emitting materials and can contribute to LEED®. They can be applied with a self-‐backed or mesh backing onto a variety of surfaces. Coconut shell mosaics are available in concave, convex and a distressed effect.
The Architectural Systems booth #4000 will be the place for inspiration and innovation at GlobalShop (April 16-‐18, McCormick Place). Nancy Jackson, president, ASI, together with Gabrielle Jackson, author of the Materialista® Blog, will demonstrate how ASI materials can be incorporated to reflect the latest trends in retail design. Join them on April 18 at 10 a.m. for conversation, coffee and cupcakes!
