The AMT Manufacturing Stage Set to Debut at IMTS 2012

McLean, Va. - The AMT Manufacturing Stage will debut at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012. Presented by FANUC, the AMT Manufacturing Stage can be found on McCormick Place’s Grand Concourse. The program will be held from 9:30 – 9:55 a.m. Sept. 10-14. It will be the place where manufacturing VIPs spend a few minutes with visitors talking about hot topics in the industry.

Acting U.S. Commerce Secretary Rebecca Blank will make a special appearance along with Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, AMT President Douglas Woods and Local Motors President Jay Rogers to kick off North America’s pre-eminent manufacturing event.

IMTS will also welcome Michael F. Molnar, Director-Advanced Manufacturing National Program, and Chief Manufacturing Officer-National Institute of Standards and Technology who will present on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will feature Harry Moser, founder of the Reshoring Initiative, who will discuss his latest efforts in bringing back manufacturing to the U.S.
