Specialized Furniture Carriers Announce 2012 Officers

HIGH POINT, N.C. – David Canfield, Interlog USA, has been elected president of the Specialized Furniture Carriers Board of Directors for 2012.

Assisting Canfield will be Patrick Cory of Cory First Choice Home Delivery as first vice president and Joe Wade, Shelba D. Johnson Trucking, as second vice president. Scott De Jong of De Jong Enterprises, who served as president in 2011, now moves to chairman of the organization's board.

Directors elected to serve three-year terms include Aimee Boozer of Sun Delivery and Rowland Branham of Worldwide Logistics. Additional directors include Carly Abernathy of Northwest Furniture Xpress, serving a two-year term, and Ed Long, Sunbelt Furniture Xpress, serving a one-year term.

The Specialized Furniture Carriers is a division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance that serves niche carriers dedicated to the transportation and delivery of residential furnishings.
